Gott och blandat/a little of everything
Jobba?
Work?

I’m surprised how easy it was to go back to work after all this time. The first week in August we settle in in our classrooms and plan all the subjects without having students to take care of. Teachers coming back from a long summer holiday need this week to kickstart the brain again. For me it took a couple of days before my brain cells were back in work mode. And now it’s a fact, No more cocktails with the desperates.

So far an empty planner...but that was the first day at work, it’s much worse now!

Am I ready????

Maybe it’s silly, but I always get in a good mood when I’m driving this car.

This is Ellen’s boys. They had something to say to my students about the English language. English is a world language and everyone can learn it! Good luck!

50 years young. Happy birthday my love!

We made a birthday dinner for him. To start with a creamy soup with potato and leek, garnished with crispy bacon and parsley. The soup was of my making.

Minna made the main course; fillet of pork, potatoes and red pepper with cream and cheese.
(null)
Siri made a tasty mud cake with cream. So fun to cook together! (null)
Sorry, but here are some more pictures of the coolest, calmest, loving and cuddly cat ever!

This is the way the girls travel to school the days when Niclas can’t give them a ride. We don’t want them to use the bus to much and if they have to we ask them to use a face mask. Better safe then sorry!

The coolest cat on the bus!

Hello handsome

We don’t see Liz as often as we would like too, but one day she and her family came for a visit. We went for a walk in our neighborhood.

In August every year there’s a running competition in Stockholm called Midnattsloppet, the midnight run. Thousands of people running 10 km together through the streets of the capital in the middle of the night. This year there was no actual race in Stockholm due to corona. Instead of running the race in Stockholm everyone that had paid the fee did the running by their own. Niclas and Minna did it too! So proud!

Minna has never been running this far before. She’s used to less than 5 km.

Minna washing the car and Siri is working with the apple tree! Lots of apples this year means a lot of apple that falls to the ground. I hope some of them will stay put until it’s time to use them in an apple pie.  (null)

Finnaly, a hair cut. We didn’t found a hairdresser that we liked in Montgomery, so we were badly in need of a haircut!

This is something new. Sune likes to be with me downstairs in the mornings. When I’m done in the shower he usually gets in there to drink some water and afterwards he stays laying on the towel.

He’s so cute!

Crayfish party at the Ramstedt’s. Niclas had to stay at home with a sore throat and Siri had some friends over at our place, but Minna and I had a really nice time with great friends and lots of crayfish!
